Research on parameters of forging process for special shaped parts
In order to make the forging special-shaped parts good shape, not only need to have enough
forging capacity forging equipment, but also need to choose the appropriate process. According to the relationship between the amount of pressing, the ratio of the width of the anvil and the amount of entering the anvil, the six art plans were made. In the pre-simulation treatment, according to the requirements of volume change, the rectangular flange size of 1050mmX1750mmX750mm, the neck size is :Φ1000mm×680mm blank model, mold design, cavity size is consistent with the forging, and then divide the plastic model grid and generate solid units. Mold modeling: the production of selected equipment for 8400T hydraulic press, the design of three-dimensional model assembly, and the actual production of assembly, selected 42CrMo4 steel, hot forging forming many factors, mainly stress, strain rate and deformation temperature.
Since the mass and volume of the irregular parts forged by the grinding roller shaft are large and the forging time is relatively short, it can be approximated that the forging temperature of the blank remains unchanged in the process of tire die forging, that is, the temperature at the beginning of forging is 1200℃. It is preliminarily determined that the initial temperature of the cutting block and the return die is 500℃. When the high temperature blank is put into the die, the surface temperature of the die will rise. Therefore, the temperature of the latter part of forging is tentatively determined to be 550℃, and the temperature of the leakage plate and other auxiliary tools is 300℃.
As the equipment used is 8400T hydraulic press, the pressure rate is set to 22mm/s according to the parameters and performance of the press. As the whole process is a hot working process, the recommended friction coefficient of the system is 0.3.
Since the height to be pressed down after the blank is completed is about 300mm, the whole forging process is completed by row forging first. According to the completion of the drawing process, the height of the blank above the die is about 750mm, and the better anvil width ratio in the forging process is 0.67~0.77, so the better anvil volume is 750(0.67~0.77)-(502.5~577.5)mm. But in the actual production process, under normal circumstances, the anvil width ratio will be controlled within the range of 0.5~0.8, so the amount of anvil is between 375~600mm. In order to find the best forging process of special forging parts, the process plan is adjusted through analysis and comparison in the process of continuous simulation.
